Yes, you read that correctly. Not only did Disney Parks give us the dates for 2023 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party BUT also announced a brand new party coming to Hollywood Studios: Jollywood Nights!
First things first, Very Merry is back with its usual offerings: “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks”, “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration,” and of course “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.”
Disney also released room discounts today for Annual Passholders and Disney+ subscribers that will offer up to 35% off room stays for bookings between November 26 to December 25, 2023.
Not an AP or Disney+ subscriber, no worries, there is still a discount for you of up to 25% off room stays for bookings from November 19 to December 9, 2023, and up to 30% off for room stays booked between December 10 to December 25, 2023.

- Tickets for guests staying at WDW Resorts, Swan & Dolphin, or Shades of Green will go on sale on June 29th.
- Tickets for the general public will go on sale starting July 6th
- Ticket prices will range from $159-$199 per person
- November Party Dates: 9, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21, 22, 26, 28, 30
- December Party Dates: 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22
Now onto the brand new event Jollywood Nights! Head over to Hollywood Studios for all the glitz and glamour of the holidays with this new event that will include the return of “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!”, Photo ops with Powerline Max and Phineas and Ferb at Echo Lake, a show hosted by Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy and more.

Misti’s Tips (Very Merry)
Just like with MNSSHP, I’ve been to my fair share of Very Merry parties and have crafted some tips to really maximize your time.
- As always, unless you have younger kids that cannot tough out for the full night, skip the first parade showing.
- Speaking of the parade, Main Street USA is going to be the prime spot for viewing as that is where the Snoap will fall.
- Unlike the MNSSHP, the cookie trails are nothing to write home about. I usually stop for a few on my way to something else but they are not worth waiting in a long line for.
- Make sure to stop for Character meet & greets, Very Merry really brings out the rare characters.
- If you want to meet Santa Jack & Sally, see my tips over on my MNSSHP post for the best way to do that.
- Even if you’re not looking to meet Jack & Sally, plan to get to the park early if you want good photos. Since it gets dark earlier in the night, there is a limited window from park entry (4:00 PM) to sundown for good lighting.
