While I love summer cocktails, most of the time you’ll find me sipping Prosecco. In fact, it’s due to my love of prosecco that I’m partnering with Mionetto Prosecco to share some of fun ways to enjoy prosecco this summer.

Summertime is my favorite time of the year. Not only do I get to flaunt my love of maxi dresses but it’s also prime entertaining season. I love nothing more than hanging out with my friends whether it’s in a park, a rooftop enjoying the views of the city, or poolside. One of my major must-haves during the summer is prosecco, not only does it fulfill the bubbly quota but I find it pairs better with my favorite summertime noshes. My favorite prosecco to keep on hand is Mionetto Prosecco. It’s crisp, sweet, and is everything prosecco should be.

Fun Fact: Prosecco is also governed by strict rules. It order to be considered prosecco it needs to be made with 85% Glera grapes. The area where prosecco got its name is found in Northeast Italy and is in fact government-protected, which means it can only be called prosecco if the product is produced there.

To show just how well Mionetto Prosecco pairs which just about anything I joined some lovely ladies for a fun afternoon brunch. We enjoyed both Mionetto Brut Prosecco and Mionetto Gran Rose with mini quiches, fruit tartes, tapas, and of course dessert. I can honestly say that while I’ve always enjoyed Mionetto Prosecco, I quickly also fell in love with Mionetto Gran Rose.

Now this is #HappyHour and while you can enjoy Mionetto Prosecco on its own or in mimosa form, I also enjoy mixing prosecco with a raspberry puree with a touch of lemon for a fancier twist on the bellini or getting some fresh fruit pops to pour the prosecco over for a fun summertime afternoon treat. Mionetto Prosecco is also great mixed with juices like fresh passion fruit, peach or apricot juice.
