DIY ~ Easy & Tasty Molasses Holiday Cookies

I am not a baker, but I LOVE making holiday cookies.  Growing up, my mother would always make these amazing molasses cookies. They are so good and she would have to make triple batches each time and freeze the extras seeing as me and my siblings could easily eat a batch between the 6 of us each day.

A few years back I got the idea to make these cookies as a thank you for all the hard work the PR teams we work with thought out year do.  While I have almost no kitchen skills, Nicole knows her way around a kitchen.  I always feel like nothing says THANK YOU more than homemade cookies.  The best part is these cookies are pretty easy to make.  Just mix all the ingredients together, no sifting or alternating between wet and dry, roll into balls, and enjoy. I’ve yet to find anyone who doesn’t love these cookies.

Each year Nicole and I try to add something extra besides the molasses cookies.  This year we added in the tried and true standard of chocolate chip cookies and these really pre-made, pre-cut sugar cookies that have Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer on the inside.  All cookies that are sure to please.

I hope these molasses cookies bring as much joy and happiness to your family as they do to mine.

Wow! I am not much of a baker, but I can try this. I have a bottle of organic molasses at home and children that have the baking gene.
