Celebrity Report ~ Fashion Spotted from the Awards to the Late Night TV Shows

Celebrities were everywhere hitting up red carpet events or simply hitting the streets. Check out what celebrities were spotted wearing this weekend.

Nikki Reed attended the 2014 Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Saturday in Los Angeles, California. The actress was gorgeous in a Versace Fall 2014 petrol-blue, bias-cut gown. This gown definitely brings the drama with the plunging neckline, extreme high slit and slashed through netted seaming. Nikki added some jewels with Dana Rebecca Designs earrings, EF Collection earrings and rings, and Graziela Gems rings, paired with a metallic clutch and silver sandals. This is a gorgeous gown on Nikki, but the sad train behind the dress ruined the look for me. The train should have been longer and more emphasized. Also given how much drama this Versace dress has (slit, plunge and netted seaming), Nikki’s hair should have been up and away from her face to show off the dress more.

“Orange is the New Black” actress, Uzo Abunda won the 2014 Creative Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy, beating out five other women, including her costars Laverne Cox and Natasha Lyonne. Uzo looked amazing in a white Costume National V-neck dress, Giuseppe Zanotti heels, Lee Savage bag and Jacob & Co. jewels. I loved that she kept her look minimal without wearing an over-the-top jeweled or sparkling gown. Let’s face it; her best accessory of her look was her Emmy award. This award marked the first time the Netflix hit show “Orange Is the New Black” has taken home a major trophy for the series’ often-praised acting.

Also at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards was “Scandal” actress Bellamy Young. Bellamy was dressed in a stunning Naeem Khan Fall 2014 bronze pleated lamé halter gown with a scarf necktie and brushed gold Amanda Pearl clutch. Decked out and dazzling in jewels, Bellamy accessorized with Dana Rebecca Designs earrings, EFFY and Le Vian bracelets, and a statement rings on almost every finger designed by EF Collection, Graziela Gems, Carrera Y Carrera, and Sylva & Cie. This is the most beautiful Bellamy has looked for a red carpet event. She is head-to-toe glamorous in this amazing Naeem Khan gown. Although, she should’ve added another inch to her heels, so the gown would not drag as much.

Bellamy’s co-star, Kerry Washington attended the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Grants Banquet held in Beverly Hills, California. Ms. Washington was flawless in a strapless Mary Katrantzou Resort 2015 eclectic-print dress and the “pièce de résistance” – the two-tone blue toecap Saint Laurent ‘Paris’ pumps. In the jewelry department, Kerry accessorized minimally with EF Collection Diamond White Topaz Studs.
The high ponytail and ‘slim to none’ jewelry is perfection for Kerry’s look. This is the best she has looked recently. Bravo, Olivia Pope, bravo!

Jessica Alba continued her busy press tour New York City promoting her latest movie, ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’, which hits theaters in the US on August 22. Jessica visited Andy Cohen at ‘Watch What Happens Live’ in a Chris Gelinas Fall 2014 forest-green strapless bodysuit paired with wide-leg Max Mara trousers. I love a good wide-leg trouser. It gives the visual allusion of added supermodel height. Jessica carried her favorite black and white oversized clutch and donned Vita Fede jewelry to accent her sexy nighttime look.

Pop star Taylor Swift made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.’ Taylor had legs for days in a Bec & Bridge Fall 2014 short-sleeved dress in a black and pink print styled with black platform Prada sandals. She kept her make-up simple, shying away from her red lipstick and instead wore a pink. Taylor kept her angled bob sleek and styled for this look. I wished wore a matte red lipstick to make this look pop. The pink shade with the bob didn’t add anything to the fabulousness of the Bec & Bridge dress and Prada platform sandals.
