Bon Voyage with These Holiday Travel Must Haves

Holiday travel is upon us! Whether you are heading out to some beach resort to melt the winter blues, embracing your inner snow bunny and hitting the slopes, or just off to visit loved ones, here are some of my must have items to get me through holiday travels.

A good travel handbag is a total musth. I need something that is not just chic and stylish but actually functional. The JetSetter Backpack from Henri Bendel has become my new favorite. Not only does it have room for everything plus pockets galore, it is also a 3-way bag. I can wear it as a backpack in the airport, a cross-body while out sight seeing, and then a lovely satchel for a night out.

When I travel I want to be as comfortable as possible meaning its leggings, boots, and simple dresses for me. The DKNY Crewneck Cape Dress was made for traveling. Not only is it chic enough without over doing (you can’t go wrong with a cape) but this little number is also super comfortable.

Airports + Mass amounts of people = germs. This one isn’t a no brainer people but Purell is your friend. No one wants to end up with a cold while on vacation.

I don’t usually wear make up on the plane. Mainly b/c my skin gets SUPER dehyradted and my makeup just ends up looking caky. Instead, I always keep a pack of the Luminous Cleansing Towelettes from Ponds handy. This babies will remove dirt and plane nastiness all while leaving my skin looking nice and refreshed. I then usually apply some CC cream, mascara, and a bold lip once I land.

Now that I can listen Mariah Carrey belt out “All I Want for Christmas” on a repeating loop gate to gate, I need headphones that show just how happy that makes me. Enter Happy Plugs¬†headphones. I was introduced to this puppies during NYFW and it was love and first listen. Not only are they super comfortable for in-ear headphones but they also are fully functional for phone calls. Happy Plugs come in a rainbow of colors and patterns so there is literally something for everyone.

No matter if you are headed to the beach, to the slopes, or over a river and through the woods to Grandmas house, you are going to see some kinda of sun action. Thankfully the good folks at Neutrogena will have you covered on the suncare. If you are beach or slopes bound the Wet Skin Sunscreen is a must have, or if you’re like me and just visiting family, then give the Ultra-Sheer Dry Touch a go.
